Bethesda have announced the second official downloadable content add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, titled 'Hearthfire'.
Hearthfire is a very different emphasis from Dawnfire's combat and story-centric focus; instead of vampire hunting, Hearthfire provides players with the ability to purchase their own block of land and create their own house from the ground up.
After acquiring the deed for the land, players can fill their custom-living with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and even a trophy room to lay out all the hard-earned achievements.
All-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter's workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings will be included. You can even get a steward to help out with household tasks. Most interestingly, the add-on will introduce the feature of adopting children to "transform your house into a home".
Hearthfire will be available for download for 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVEĀ® on September 4.
