Quickflix rental service launches on Xbox Live in Australia

Online movie rental service Quickflix has launched on Xbox Live in Australia, Microsoft announced today.

The service, which is available to Xbox Live Gold members in Australia and New Zealand, offers subscribers online DVD and Blu-ray disc rental-by-mail and instant streaming.

It's available to download from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace starting today.

netflix automatically gets an F from me. cause it's not available here so screw them.

I remember quickflix having some decent introductory offers (free month trial) that was pretty easy to deal with.

this would be a decent substitute for those pining for a streaming service and I guess you could also take advantage of their mail-in service for blu-rays for your ps3 [MOG]
