EA-owned PopCap Games has announced a sequel to its excellent action strategy game Plants vs. Zombies.
Set for release "by late spring 2013" on as-yet-unannounced platforms, the game will feature "a bevy of new features, settings, and situations, designed to delight the franchise's tens of millions of fans around the world", according to the official press release.
The announcement also included the following comment from an unidentified spokesperson: "Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots. So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan... we're freee anytime. We'll find you."
The original Plants vs. Zombies most recently launched on Vita in February
