Microsoft has "accidentally" hinted at the next generation Xbox for the second time this week by revealing a job vacancy for a Central Marketing Group director, which suggests the console will be released before 2014.
The ad says "over the next eighteen months Microsoft will release new versions of all of our most significant products including Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox, along with completely new offerings like Microsoft Surface".
That suggests a new Xbox is in development for a release at the end of 2013.
It follows comments by Windows Live boss Brian Hall who said Microsoft is planning a "new wave of products" that will be launching with Windows 8, including "the new Xbox."
Microsoft responded saying Mr Hall was referring to the Xbox fall update later this year and not a new console.
However, the job vacancy lists an 18 month timeframe, well after this year's annual Xbox system update.
