Leaked image says GTA V will release in 2012

A new image (pictured above) allegedly taken from the Rockstar website has surfaced online, with the screenshot showing that GTA V is planned for a release in Q4 of this year.

While there is no validation behind the image (as it was reportedly taken down from the Rockstar website), fans are now speculating whether we could be seeing the next installment to the series sooner than expected.

Doesn't Q4 go from October to March though?

March 2013 seems likely, so Q4 2012 is not that outrageous.

March-May sounds likely to me.

Release windows aren't normally done in fiscal years though, unless specifically stated.

^ that is incorrect.

Video game companies release in fiscal years. It is fiscal Q4, not regular Q4. Fiscal changes from company to company, but most start at the end of March, so it goes like this...

Q1 - March, April, May
Q2 - June, July, August
Q3 - September, October, November
Q4 - December, January, February

Think of it like a financial year which goes from 1 July to 30 June.
