DICE talks Battlefield 3 DLC and future BF3 support

Battlefield 3's "Aftermath" DLC pack will be launching in December, according to this Battlefield Premium hype page, and the site's calendar also officially acknowledges and dates BF3's "End Game" DLC pack for March of 2013.

Both brand new DLC packs are said to contain four new maps, new unspecified weapons, equally new and equally unspecified vehicles, and "more."

While Battlefield Premium subscribers gain access to DLC content two weeks earlier than regular folk, it is to be assumed that the December and March launch windows will apply to everyone else.

Along with the Battlefield 4 beta, which will be coming later this year with a pre-order of Medal of Honor: Warfighter, DICE has been assuring fans that support for BF3 will continue before, during and after Battlefield 4's eventual release.

"We are committed to providing an excellent Battlefield 3 experience well into the future , past the releases of Aftermath, End Game, and Battlefield 4," a representative said on the Battlefield blog.

"DICE is continuing its work on Battlefield 3 alongside Battlefield 4."

Sounds like an excuse to secure some more sales before the launch of BF4. Why EA, why did you have to turn this into another COD.
Because its not about games anymore its about money, they are all starting to head in the same direction.
We always complain about 'they only care about the money' but still we open our wallets everytime to them which encourage the video game publishers to create more money making. The only way to stop company greed is not feeding them with your $$$.
So is the problem you guys have with EA/DICE the release of BF4 'too early' or is it the 'milking' of DLC from BF3?

I'm putting my money on both :P
As long EA n DICE makes me happy making good games n DLC I'm not complaining.
To be honest, I have no problem with a new release every 1 or 2 years, IF there are valuable and noticeable changes and inclusions.

That being said, Battlefield 3 could have been supported through updates and DLC for another 2 years without a new release.

true. i was a COD guy before i got BF3 and to tell you the truth. i'd rather have a game being support for more than a year with new DLCs including new maps, weapons, vehicles, assignments. unlike COD only gets new maps.
