Deep Silver have announced that Techland's newest zombie-filled paradise will launch April 23rd in North America and April 26th internationally for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Riptide will launch with a Special Edition, which will be in limited numbers. It will contain "tempting extras in your survival arsenal". These include a unique character skin, alternate box-art, exclusive weapon mods, and a digital strategy map. Those who pre-order the standard edition will also receive the weapon mod pack.
Dead Island Riptide will add "additional gameplay mechanics, all-new gorgeous locales to explore, more types of zombies to provide constant threats, an additional character class and the best co-operative zombie action experience in gaming."
