CS:GO launches August 21, pre-purchase now to save $$$

It's official. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will launch on August 21 across the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The news has been revealed via the official blog, and the game is available for pre-purchase on Steam.

Gamers who throw down their money before launch day can secure their copy for $13.49 USD, receiving a nice 10% discount. Those who pre-purchase will gain access to the beta on August 14th, and all those who are currently in the beta will continue to have access until the 21st.

We're really excited to lay down our lives for either the T's or CT's this month. You can jump into our CS:GO discussion or head along to read our beta impressions and get ready for action.

The question is, should you get the standalone purchase or the Every-CS-Game-Bundle? I don't have Source so it seems like a good deal... and I thought Steam didn't do enough damage with its Steam Sale... [sick]

I already have every other Valve game, so its an easy decision for me. If you don't have the rest then its probably worth it.

CS:go in the beta feels heaps different to source i hope they smooth it out and get rid of the stupid buy wheel thats only useful for console.
