Crysis 3 tech trailer is absolutely stunning

EA has released a new trailer for Crysis 3 showcasing the CryTech 3 engine.

It promises that all footage has been taken in real time, from in-game footage of Crysis 3 and isn't just a tech demo.

I played a preview build on PC at E3, but it certainly didn't look quite this good. If this is the finished product, it just might be time to upgrade my PC.

Damn that looks good. Hopefully i can get my new PC built by then!
hey @Skarteh this could well be the game to push my GTX680 GPU, cant wait for this :)
Haha it may be. The textures don't look as mindblowing as they could be, that was always how Crysis (orig) absolutely monstered computers. ****ing love tessellation finally being implemented into games. I really think that is the best graphics tech to come along for a long while. It will be the new bump mapping haha :D

Can't believe we've had texture streaming tech for so long and have only now just gotten polygon streaming tech. Awesome stuff, the complexity of closeup models will just go through the roof once the next gen comes around.

I hope to shit the new consoles support tessellation [MOG]
damn that secret toad tech
