Black Ops 2 special editions may be too hard to resist Comments

I'm actually becoming saddened by my CoD obsession, and I'm sorry for this, but...

Black Ops 2 special editions may be too hard to resist
It's tempting.....
The biggest problem with the AR drone was having to use an iPhone.

Real controls means we can go battle (read: accidentally crash into each other) in Channel 10's courtyard again, Ritchie [Derp]
NOT SURE WHAT TO GET [Rage] :'@
I was hoping there'd be a subscription to Elite but that explains the cheaper price on the Hardened edition.

These are AUS prices btw...I'm sure you know that though :P

Take roughly $30-$40 off these prices for the US price. I think Hardened is $78 RRP in the US?
Of course, I know that. I don't revolve around your damn spaceman prices. Black Ops 2 special editions may be too hard to resist

And yeah, close to that. That was how much BO1's Hardened edition was.
Why, why, why? If anything those Care Package editions will just be collecting dust in my local game store. Those flying things look to be of rather cheap quality and probably will be plus we get a big plastic box... take my money? no thanks lolz

This is call of duty where talking about. Everyone knows its shit and there's going to be server crashes first day. People are still going to buy it though.

YES!
$230 is steep.

$199 would have sounded more enticing.

Never said the game is shit just all this crap they bundle with it year after year... those AR drones cost a pretty penny for a good one with a proper remote (i should know cause i have one) and to fit one in this bundle for the price there asking... well
Yeah, I can't imagine this drone being all that high quality.

MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone

Has anyone used it/seen it in action?
i will be getting this BUT not for xbox or ps3 i will be getting it for the nitendo WiiU just because its the best console
Olly you talking about the AR Drone? Or something different

RSOP said: Olly you talking about the AR Drone? Or something different

Nah, i did consider one at the cheaper price but i didn't like the touch device controls. I got a Droidworx and its an awesome bit of kit.
I'm mainly a helicopter guy though, i own 4 of them! 3 of em are in bits and pieces though from my tinkering and the other i was using to film from above had a problem mid flight and it nose dived the ground which you can imagine damaged it beyond repair lolz so ive been salvaging the parts.
I wonder how big the care package will be?
Might consider buying just the Hardened edition.
What- $230???

Yeah, nah.
strange that none of them seem to include elite
tempted to get this,

noobi said: strange that none of them seem to include elite

Not at all. All normal editions of the game are being upgraded to Hardened at EB Games, if that were to include ELITE, that would only be an extra $10 for a year of DLC.

Mark Lamia and David Vonderhaar unbox the Care Package in a Joystiq interview and power the drone up for a few seconds. I wouldn't give it more than 10-15 minutes flying time per charge.

not sure what you mean, isn't that the 'hardened' edition listed above? It doesn't make any mention of elite, unless its the content mentioned with the challenge coins or there's something else I'm missing
"Limited edition challenge coins that serve as your key to exclusive digital content" im positive EVERY copy of blops2 will have nuketown 2025 (possibly nuketown zombies too)- or it will be free on store OR, it's some local/private only map =S. this means that if that's all the coins are it's not exclusive content at all..
then again, $108 surely isn't enough for hardened AND elite.. guess we wont know until next month
$230 is a bit steep too imo, for a silly drone. carepackage is badass though
Very easy to resist actually.
Call Of Duty replied to a tweet asking if you can purchase Nuketown Zombies by itself with "Nope, the Hardened or Care Package editions are the only way to get Nuketown Zombies"
Hardened edition is looking good

Thanks.

Guess I might have to fork out for the Hardened Edition.
You might as well go pay someone $230 to give u Aids, Its the same thing pretty much... [MOG]
Hardened version for me. I have no need for more COD toys.
