Black Ops 2, the sequel to 2010's blockbuster Call of Duty: Black Ops, is "going to be a very original experience", according to Sgt. Frank Woods.
That is, of course, actuall James C. Burns, who voices the pragmatic and intriguing protagonist from Black Ops.
Mr Burns (insert The Simpson's gag here) says that the game's developer, Treyarch, is bringing a new mechanic to gamers that will add weight to their decisions in Black Op 2's narrative.
"Treyarch has gone to the edge of the universe," he quipped. "This is going to be one of the first interactive experiences where you get to make decisions that affect the outcome."
According to the voice actor, "everything has been upgraded", from the game's interesting futuristic story, to the "playability of the game itself".
Seeing as though gamers being able to shape a game's story is nothing new -- David Cage says hello -- we should just assume that by "original", Mr Burns means original for the Call of Duty franchise, which is often touted by gamers as being particularly void of change with every annual iteration.
