BioShock Infinite art director leaves Irrational with other key staffers

LinkedIn has revealed that a number of employees have recently left Irrational Games, including the art director from BioShock Infinite.

Four key staff members have left the studio including design lead Jeff McGann, principal systems designer Kenneth Strickland, director of product development Tim Gerritsen and art director Nate Wells. Wells' departure is certainly noteworthy considering he has been with the studio for almost 13 years.

Wells' twitter feed once sported a mention that he was changing jobs, but that has since been removed. His LinkedIn profile also listed him as an employee for Naughty Dog, which has also been removed. The plot thickens my friends.

Wells has been replaced by Scott Sinclair, who was the art director on the original BioShock. His influence won't change the project greatly considering the game is due for release this February.

OH that a shame :*O
Perhaps they're a little bit too ambitious. Probably internal creative strife.
