Earlier this year, xbox.com leaked the existence of co-operative play in Assasins Creed 3. Now, Ubisoft has revealed that Assasins creed 3 will include a new co-op mode for up to 4 players named 'Wolfpack'.
In this modus players must work together to hunt down and assasinate targets. This will go in waves of 25 targets where each assasination becomes more challenging. IGN affirms that players must beat the time taking down all targets, if not the round will be lost. Although you're scaring crowds, discretion in the murder is not essential in this modus. However, extra points will be given if the target is killed within certain conditions. (for ex. with special weapons or killing from rooftops etc.)
Otherwise the mode looks similar to already existing Assasins Creed multiplayer offerings. You'll chase down the target using the familiar circular direction HUD.
Last but not least, Ubisoft has equally released new narrated footage of single player gameplay in the city of Boston. This 5 minute video shows some new elements new within the franchise and a spectacular sight of Boston.
