Since 2002 I believe. PS2 game originally.

Yeah it was originally planned for ps2 afaik, but has gone through many many changes since then (it was going to be an on rails shooter at one point :P) and I don't think it has been in development the whole time, there was talk of sega pulling the funding for it if AvP didn't do well so I assume development was put on hold while they waited to see what was going to happen there.

Every time I see it it looks better and better, so glad there are a few other games I can play while I wait, it would be excruciating otherwise [Rage]

Makes sense, although I don't think Gearbox was developing it when it was back on PS2.

Interesting now that SEGA is reducing the size of its publishing sector. I hope it doesn't disappear all together.
