- French site claiming Xbox 360 CES reveal
- New console may include 2GB of DDR3 RAM
The CES expo in January may act as our first view of Microsoft's successor to the Xbox 360.
That's according to French website Xboxygen, which is reporting that the company will reveal a new console and its specs, but not its software of features.
It cites an anonymous source close to Microsoft (unsurprisingly), suggesting that two teams called 'Infinity' and 'Loop' are in charge of hardware and software respectively.
What will be inside the console? Apparently a hex-core (six-core) CPU, with an AMD graphics card and 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
The AMD inclusion backs up reports that the company has close ties with the next Xbox.
