good ole coeboose3.

Its free for the first month, and $75 per month if you selected all the packages. And you win 10 games easily with a rrp(at EB) of $120 each. Aslong as you remember to cancel then there's no harm

Mine took about 3 days to come through.
thanks for the heads up tia
So to get this free one month and not have to pay after the month I should ring up and cancel the sub? Is this the same process as cancelling the XBL membership over the phone?
you dont have to ring up

you can cancel on the foxtel site

Cheers mate.
So wait, I'm a bit confused. I signed up, and now it says select package or Foxtel On Demand?

If I select a package don't I have to pay?

Edit: Sorry double post.

Correct. You will only be charged after the first month. It will tell you how much the package you selected costs, but the first month will be waived.

Ahh will it be waived when I get that code?

And which channels do I pick, just one or all?

Also, if I link my existing account (in my Dad's name) does that change anything?

What code? You won't pay any for the first month except a $10 authorisation test which will be refunded to you (so not actually charged). You can choose all the packages and it will make no difference. I suggest doing that.

Ah alright so I can get all the channels after paying that $10 which will be refunded to me at the end of the month?

Thanks for all your help.

Yep.

The $10 won't even be taken out of your account (just your available balance) and will be back in about 3 business days.
does seem to be a little confusion with this offer.
i've gone with the foxtel on demand offer which i think is you only pay for each show you watch ??

That's right. But it's kind of pointless at the moment. You can get the full foxtel package, worth up to $75, for FREE for a month. The price will be listed, but the first month is free, so cancel before the end of that, and you don't pay anything.
still have not recieved my code for 1 month free for xbox live.
who would i chase up about this?

Go onto the Foxtel site, there are contact details there. I had to ring them about something else and they were very helpful.
REALLY :(
