Darksiders 2 developer Vigil says the Wii U version looks "at least as good" as the Xbox 360 and PS3 builds.
Developers are under strict non-disclosure agreements to not discuss specifics about Nintendo's console in the lead up to its final unveiling at E3 in the next fortnight.
Despite being standard practice, it has led to speculation that it might be less powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Vigil has put those fears to rest, without compromising their contractual obligations.
"The visuals will be the same," associate producer Jay Fitzloff told Eurogamer. "It's still a work in progress. But I know, at least as good is the way to say it."
Dev kits have changed considerably since the early build of Darksiders 2 for Wii U was made in just 5 weeks, but due to the embargo, we'll have to wait until E3 to see just how much.
