Trials Evolution sets XBLA launch day record

The successor to 2009's extremely popular Trials HD, Trials Evolution has already set a new record for XBLA launch day sales, downloaded over 100,000 times during its first day and grossing over $1.5 million.

Leaderboards for Trials Evolution recorded 120,000 players playing the game only a day after its release, with over 180,000 recorded on its second day.

Demand for the game has been so high that developer Redlynx issued a statement on Twitter apologising for leaderboard issues within the game, remedied by Microsoft implementing more servers.

3D world... where everything, even flat stuff, are in 3D.

It's a great game, the only things I don't like about it is sometimes the textures take a while to load and when playing single player, you don't get to see your friends ghost bikes only their names.

In trials 1 it was good to see the actual bikes to see how they controlled and what they did, this one you don't get to see that.

Oh wow really? So you can't see the ghosts of the XBLA high scores etc too? That sucks...
Maybe I'm remember this wrong but I'm pretty sure I would resort to those on really hard tracks to try and work out how to get past certain bits.
