If some how you've been out of the loop the past couple of weeks, the eGames & Entertainment kicks off tomorrow in Melbourne. Shaping up to be one of the biggest video game events in Australia, let alone Melbourne, eGames will give gamers a chance to get hands on with the latest titles along with several unreleased hits on their way.
So why should you shell out the tiny ticket price? Here's a pretty good list of reasons.
Dark Sector
Mass Effect
FIFA 08
Skate
Tiger Woods PGA Tour ® 08
NBA 07
Singstar
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Super Mario Galaxy
Link’s Crossbow Training & Wii Zapper
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Sight Training
Singstar
Unchartered: Drake’s Fortune
Time Crisis 4
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Pursuit Force 2: Extreme Justice
Socom Tactical Strike
Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow
ATV Offroad Fury Pro

All of these unreleased titles and more will be available hands on starting tomorrow at the eGames expo. First thing on the agenda is a live music performance from the Eminence Symphony Artists, featuring Hitoshi Sakimoto, composer of Final Fantasy XII's soundtrack. You'll be able to watch keynotes from the level designers of Bioshock (Dean Tate and Jonathan Pelling), Brian Algier from Insomniac, developers behind Rachet and Clank for PS3, Nintendo's Greg Arthurton and more.
Want to go head to head against the best gamers in Australia? Hop on over to the eSports zone and go head to head against Team Immunity. Bring your team down and go up against the best.
Like Cosplay? The Animavericks Cosplay competition has got you covered. Got the technical skills to build your own computer with nothing more than the parts and what you know? The Scorptec PC Build-off will challange you to build the best PC you can, and if you win, it's yours!
