Sydnicate, the recently-released but banned in Australia first-person shooter, originally began as a third-person action title, according to the leaked CV of Steve Dyck.
The game was set to be developed by EA Canada, with Mr Dyck tasked with leading a “small team handpicked to revitalize the franchise.”
"Contributed to building the team, establishing pipelines, tools and systems. Authored many animated videos that helped keep the project alive while the engine was being developed," the CV reads.
This all happened between 2003 and 2007 and, has history would have it, never came to be. Syndicate would eventually be rebooted in the shape of a first-person shooter, which was released earlier this year in North America and Europe.
