Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II out now

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II is out today on the PlayStation Store and Steam, but Xbox 360 players will have to wait until tomorrow.

The second episode is selling for $18.25 in Australia, which translates to 1200 Microsoft Points on XBLA.

It will also be released on selected Android devices and the App Store tomorrow for $7.49. It will be out on all Android devices and Windows Phone in June and July respectively.

"Sonic 4 Episode II is very special because we’ve integrated community feedback into the game," said Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA of America. "We have some of the most loyal and dedicated fans and I hope they enjoy this next chapter in the Sonic 4 saga."

Anyone who owns both episodes on the same platform will also receive the bonus "Episode Metal", featuring four revamped Acts to be played through with Metal Sonic.

This is the one thing I hate about update times on the Aussie PSN being in-line with Europe :(

The Australian store still haven't updated, so the game's not up yet. The trial and full game are up on the US store though.

Cant even play a whole level in the demo and the gameplay is pretty much the same as the first

Wow, where's the hype SEGA? The game just came upon me, I knew it was in development but had no idea it had gone gold and was waiting release. I'm sure many people don't even know the game exists, let alone that it's out now. (evil)

Yeah, that date, and the release window have been set in stone for awhile now. Sega even have released a couple of trailers for it, and Sonic CD in an attempt to hype up episode 2 even more.

Suprised it's gone un-noticed by a few people until now.
