I enjoyed Resident Evil's original horror-survival style over the new action-horror direction since RE4. Capcom just can't replicate Raccoon City or the Spencer Mansion's frightening atmosphere and tension.

I do like the quality of the graphics so far, though, as well as their faithfulness to the continuity of the storyline. I always liked Leon so glad to see him back in the spotlight. But I think I'll hold off on RE6 for a while, made the mistake of buying RE5 on release. Wasn't everything I hoped for it to be.

I enjoyed RE5 to an extent but yes, there was something missing in RE5 that was in RE4 but I don't know what...

I reccommend giving Revelations a try then if you have a 3DS, it goes closer to Resident Evils survivor horror roots, while still having gameplay like that of Resient Evil 4/5.

I don't own a 3DS myself but my brother does and has bought and played Revelations. It looks quite good but I guess I don't have time for it these days, would love to check it out and see how it balanced both RE play-styles.
