The Resident Evil 6 demo will have a staggered release which will see it made available to some Xbox 360 players two months before anyone on the PlayStation 3.
The demo will be made available on July 3 to consumers who purchase the multiplatform Dragon’s Dogma on Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 gamers who buy Dragon’s Dogma will have to wait until September 4.
Capcom didn't give a firm explanation for the unprecedented delay, telling Gaming target, "This was a strategic business decision," but failing to offer further reasoning.
Meanwhile, all other players will have to wait until September 20 to download the demo on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
