Microsoft have confirmed a lower priced ($199USD) SKU for the new xbox. Microsoft have confirmed this but no details as to what the console specs will be have been released.
Speculation is that it will include a smaller hard drive and perhaps the removal of the built in WIFI.
At $199USD it should be approx. $270 - #300AUS based on the current pricing model.
