Microsoft have quietly added in a few changes to Xbox Live Silver Accounts in the 'Fall Update'. If you have a Silver Account, you will now have to wait 1 week to download game demos from teh Marketplace. Giving paying Gold Members the first whack at utilising the Xbox Live Bandwidth.
Silver Members will now see a red circle with a slash through it next to any new content within its first week of being released. If you try to access it, you will see the message in the image above.
Major Nelson Says: "Limited time exclusive access to content is just one of the many benefits of having a Gold Xbox Live account".
1UP Says: "When people talk about features they'd like to see added to an Xbox Live Gold subscription, dedicated servers, expanded buddy lists or separate bandwidth pipes for popular downloads are first to mind. Instead of adding features to the Gold experience, however, they're "enhancing" Gold subscriptions by continuing a practice started last summer of stripping Silver members of features and making them Gold-only."
