Rumours have proven true, as Microsoft stores across the US have released a subscription-based Xbox 360.
The 4GB console and Kinect bundle costs USD $99 upfront, and then an on-going fee of $15 per month over a contractual two year period, reports CVG.
For that, you also get access to Xbox Live Gold.
The interesting deal, targeting people who don't have $200 upfront with money for Xbox Live, is only available at Microsoft Stores, which are apparently quite hard to find.
