Microsoft offering refund to SD Minecraft 360 players

Microsoft will offer a refund to SDTV-owning Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition players.

It didn't make it clear that split-screen is only available on HDTVs, leaving those with bulky retro sets out in the cold.

Microsoft has since updated the game's description to make the stipulation clear, and announced that anyone affected by the mishap is entitled to a refund in they contact Customer Support.

Alternatively, it's a good excuse to get with the times.

I did until mine broke, PS3 and 360 games may not look that great on them, but games from eras before them that were built to be played on SD TV's look beautiful if you have a good one.

Only splitscreen. The rest should work.

Anything without at least component cables looks awful on a HD TV.
