Mass Effect 3 Resurgence DLC hits Xbox Live

Mass Effect 3 developer, Bioware, has released the game's first downloadable content.

However, while most Mass Effect fans would have expected the extra content, which includes new maps, to be free, an error has seen the new "Resurgence Pack" uploaded with a price of 320 Microsoft Points.

The developer said on Twitter: “Please DO NOT purchase the 320 pt. ‘Resurgence Pack’ consumable on XBL dash. This was erroneously uploaded & we are working to take it down!”

The Resurgence Pack will include 2 brand new maps, 3 new weapons and 6 new characters.
