The eGames Expo comes to Melbourne next Friday, and if it wasn't already shaping up to be the biggest date of your gaming calender, here's one more reason to go.
Artists from the Eminence Symphony Orchestra, including Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (pictured left) who will appear with violin virtuoso Hiroaki Yura will be at eGames to present an exclusive performance on the opening day.
Performing against a backdrop of game footage, Sakimoto and Yura will be performing some of their most loved tunes, including the theme from Sega's 'Gallian Chronicles'
The pair will also contact a Q&A session on the main stage, providing fans a chance to pose questions to this much celebrated game music composer. An autograph session with Eminence Artists and Hitoshi Sakimoto will follow the presentation.
For those not already familiar with Sakimoto's work, he has been composing for video games for over 20 years, and is best known for his scoring work on Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
Recently he has moved into anime, completely his score for 'Romeo x Juliet' not to long ago, performed with the Eminence Symphony Orchestra.
