Halo 4 requires 8GB install for multiplayer

Microsoft has quietly revealed that Halo 4 will require "at least" 8GB of hard drive or flash storage to access the multiplayer mode. It's a requirement for all multiplayer modes.

It's hardly a surprising revelation, as Halo Reach required the game to be installed to play online co-op. However, it's an inconvenience if you own an Xbox 360 with only 4GB of storage space, as Microsoft recommends using the hard drive for an optimised experience.

"Halo 4 will offer an optimal experience if played using a hard drive, but will deliver a visually impressive and immersive gameplay experience whether you use a hard drive or a flash storage device," said Microsoft.

Fair enough I say. Games run a ton better when installed, and if it'll effect other people's experience or your own to a noticeable extent, then this is a good move.

But compulsory?

Launch Xbox 360 are essentially last-gen these days.
If the multiplayer has great gameplay and graphics it will be worth it but if its the same as say Reach it would be stupid but Halo hasn't really disapointed many people yet and i think it will continue unless your hard drives only 4GB
