In January at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, Microsoft showed the debut of retro showcase "Game Room".
Game Room is a virtual arcade which can be downloaded via XBL to your console for free, and be decorated in which way you please. You are than able to purchase classic arcade games from industry legends like Atari to stock your game room up. Your avater is than able to play them, and challenge your XBL friends to a game for bragging rights on top of each leaderboard.
This service is set to launch in spring this year and will be released with 30 games inclucding games such as pitfall, Yar's, Tempest, Asteroids and Lunar Lander. Microsoft hope to add five to seven titles per week to download. Each game is set to cost between 240MP - 400MP, or 40MP for a single game.
