Exclusive Minecraft content might come to Xbox 360

Minecraft on Xbox 360 could take a different direction than its PC counterpark, according to 4J Studios.

Chief technical officer, Paddy Burns, said that both Mojang and Microsoft are keen to add new content to the game specifically for Xbox.

While we are working on updating the game version in the short term, we will be looking at specific Xbox content in the longer term," said My Burns.

The content on the Xbox 360 version will also be dictated by the desires of its community, just like the PC version.

"We would love to see a community growing around the Xbox version of the game," said Mr Paddy, "and it is something we are all very keen to enable as we continue developing the game."
