EA CEO John Riccitiello says the company wants to see Tiger Woods start winning again.
He reinforced that he wasn't threatening Tiger, but EA's longstanding PGA Tour series has Tiger Woods' name attached to it due to his dominance and standing in the sport. The future of the business partnership is unclear if Woods can't recapture his best, but EA is in no hurry to dump him, even after his treacherous year off the course.
After disappointing sales of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Riccitiello said that both EA and Tiger Woods need to be at their best for the partnership to continue well into the future. "Both of those things need to be true in the long run for the partnership to make sense."
EA have previously stated that they're willing to stand by Tiger Woods "for a period of time," to give him an opportunity to turn his life around.
Will he still be there for PGA Tour 12?
