- GameSpot report Dead Island as one of their best sellers for July-Sept quarter
Dead Island was met with mixed responses from gamers and critics alike. Despite the wishy-washy feeling of most people, Game Informer has announced that the survival horror RPG has shipped 3 million units since September this year.
According to Deep Silver, most of those 3 million copies have actually been sold to consumers.

Dead Island proved to be a fast mover from launch date; many stores across Australia were sold out after the first week. GameSpot in the US also reported that it was one of the best selling games during the July-September quarter.
