Dead Island classified for Australia

QV Software today announced that Deep Silver and Techland's much anticipated open world zombie-fest Dead Island has been rated by the Australian Classification Board as MA 15+.

Dead Island will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC globally on September 9, 2011.

Dead Island is an upcoming open world horror action adventure video game in development by Techland for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is centered on the challenge of survival on a zombie-infested island with a major emphasis on melee combat.

If they were going to censor it, it would have been RC first, then censored then re-issued for classification.
That is the usual process anyway.
