In an interview with GameTrailers (check out the video above), Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda, has talked about Skyrim's upcoming DLC, Dawnguard, and its multitude of additions to the series.
Howard stated that the new DLC will add between 10-20 hours of gameplay for gamers, and will allow players to play as vampires for the first time, as well as an included perk tree to upgrade your vampirical abilities. Whilst not going into detail, he also discussed the inclusion of new shouts such as "Soul Tear", where the player can tear the soul from an enemy and turn them into an undead minion who will fight at your side.
The Dawnguard DLC has officially been confirmed for worldwide release on June 26 for the Xbox 360, with 360 owners able to download it for 1600 Microsoft Points. Not a bad deal when you're getting over 10-20 hours of gameplay in return - more than what most full release games offer.
No word yet on a release date for PC and PS3 owners.
