Crysis 2 DX 11 Patch Is Here

PC gamers might stop revolting against the idea of Crysis 2 with the release of the Ultra Upgrade Pack.

The free update brings minor improvements for Direct X 9 users, but brings support for DX 11 features. What does that mean in layman's terms? It just got really, really, ridiculously good looking.

Along with the Direct X upgrade patch is an optional download of some hi-res textures which make the game look a least....three times better than your average Zoolander. Be warned: to run the new textures you'll need a 64bit machine and at least 768mb of GPU power.

Yeah Crysis was like that. You just could not get across how it looks without playing it. Screenshots and videos could not show you 80% of it's glory.

Now I'm in a shitty situation because I want it now but can't get it on Steam [Rage]

I'm going to have to take on Origin soon enough though. Crysis may not be able to tempt me to use it, but BF3 ****ing will. Suppose I could get used to it now in preparation. Fml.
