Call of Duty Online revealed...for China

Activision has revealed the next big Call of Duty game, and you won't get to play it.

Call of Duty: Online is a compilation of all Call of Duty online experiences, and will be released exclusively in China, allowing Chinese gamers to experience the immensely popular shooter series for the first time.

I guess it would make sense for only China. Not only to test the waters for such a COD product but also the fact that Eastern audiences seem much more receptive to microtransaction/subscription models while western audiences seem happy forking out full retail cost every year.

I wonder if this will combine all the games so CoD 4, Waw, MW2, BO & MW3. If they did there would be alot of guns and a very high level to reach prestige which would stop alot of wingers.

Nope, it's just a combination of the Modern Warfare series, running on the MW3 engine.

If they did this I would be very jelous, but I really doubt they would of taken the time.

Me too :)

If the guns are any good like COD4 I'd really like this game, just so I could play those maps on properly well populated servers again. While they have still had a loyal fanbase, its not what it used to be in its heyday.

Nope, it's just a combination of the Modern Warfare series, running on the MW3 engine.

Is it just going to be the guns from mw3 if it is that is crap. But if it has every gun from all Modern Warfares (Expect the doubles like the AK) it would be better.
