Call of Duty: Black Ops II confirmed

Over the last few weeks there have been numerous leaks, rumors and pre-order listings alluding to the next Call of Duty title. Today, the images of Target pre-order cards have confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and a planned release date.

Acquired by IGN, the pre-order cards establish a planned release date for the 13th of November, 2012.

What are your hopes for and thoughts about the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise?

Well it may not be the official date because it does say on the "reservation cards" that the date could be subject to change......

I think the best way to get pumped for a cod game is to skip playing one of the yearly releases. :P

Good pick-up! I remember Treyarch labelling it under that name.

I suspect the date printed on the cards will end up being the official release date due to the Eclipse connection (Treyarch probably following Bethesda's footsteps in sticking to a cool-sounding release date), but who knows? Maybe that's a retail-specific or hopeful release date instead.

I myself have never been a real CoD fan but a lot of my more casual-gamer friends are looking forward to this one.
