Any and all CO2 savings from driving a Prias are countered and then some by the manufacture of it, particularly with the batteries.

the prius seems ok. i have it tonight to test drive it but i need to bring it back in the morning. my friend thinks that it is good for that price so i will probably buy it.

i need to take good care of the car. i had to hand over my mitsubishi and put a $1000 deposit on it. hopefully i don't get any speeding tickets at all.
i noticed that there was a small dent in the side. the seller said that a panel beater could remove it cheaply.

They always say that. "Theres a small crack in the bumper but thats really cheap to repair"

They try that on me all the time. Sadly for them i know better. And the panel beater in town is shit and charges a kidney for a bumper respray.

yeah it is BS that they can repair it cheaply. the people i go to 'The Soldani brothers' are pretty cheap and they do a great job. i am going to take it for a test drive on the highway soon to see how it performs.

They're not good on the highway, that's where their economy goes to shit which is the reverse of every other car pretty much :P

You seriously think they look cool? I honestly can't get my head around someone thinking that giant hunch backed wedge of cheese on tiny little wheels looks good :/ there are very few cars uglier... You'd need a Ssangyong to top it.

They are complete and utter garbage. I had the unfortunate experience of being stuck driving one for an entire day. They poorly built, the dash is stupid, they have zero performance...like embarrassingly bad, when you put your foot down in one they just make a horrible noise like the car was 10 years old, the dash is in a stupid location, the controls feel like they were taken straight of an electric forklift.
There's much better hybrids on the market now.

For a second I thought it was Sunday because I was seeing heaps of club and track day cars. Couple of guys filling up at the servo were getting funny looks because they were filling up fuel cells in their boot.

took it out for a test drive. utter crap. it was terrible on the highway very shaky at 100km. it kept stopping and i looked at the engine thoroughly and some of it is rusted. the brakes are squeaky. when you stopped the car shook and made a horrible scraping noise. i am surprised the car didn't fall apart it was that bad. now i know why Guyver hates them. so i don't think i will buy it. i'll keep looking.
