A general discussion on those devices we put on our heads to drown out the nagging...I mean for better sound quality :P

I've been using the SteelSeries Siberia V2's steelseries.com/... for ages now and I'll be hanging on to them because they do a good job.

Who said anything about hating business practice? Hating that there are so many people stupid enough to fork out that much for mediocre headphones with an incredibly uneven response.

Go into an equaliser, make a V shape, congrats you just made Beats. Or save yourself the trouble and buy a gaming headset, they're tuned exactly the same.

Pretty much if you appreciate good sound those things are the antithesis of everything you hold dear. But whatever, if people wanna buy then they can, they'll just look like brainless sheep.

Most of them are now going for $400 so I'm march to JB Hi-Fi with a swag, a fur coat made from albino panda fur and with two hoes by my side and say to the staff 'Hey! This is $1000 I wanna buy that and keep the change' then wear them out LIKE A BOSS while the haters looking at me with hate....Well that's my dream lol I probably just ordering it online and then picking up after in the store while wearing my trackies and a T-shirt with Yoshi print.

So I just bought an electric drum kit and was wondering what headphones would be best to suit them for $100 or less? I have no idea what to look for and just want the best I can possibly get for the price, thanks! :)

What kind of response suits drums? If you went reasonably balanced and stupidly good for the money, I recommend AKG K99's. I got some the other day and they're really good bang for buck and super comfortable. Extremely light, do not over pressure your head and have very good isolation. Seems like what you would want?

My TT's died for the second time so I am in need of a new headset. Preferably one with a good mic, or decent enough because my desk mic doesn't pick up my voice good enough so I've been told.

Yes they are. They are excellent, go check out some reviews.

Also consider AKG K99's. Superb for the money with nice balanced sound.

they look kinda big too, need something to travel with, go to the gym and that. might get the klipsch s4. i appreciate music but wouldnt say im and audiophile or anything

Where did you find them for $50? I paid over $100 for S4i's 18 months ago. Great headphones.
