A joke? In fact, I think it's probably the best thing that could happen for PC gaming.

If more casual users are jumping on board, it means that the hardcore PC enthusiast is going to benefit. More money being thrown at PC development means we might not be stuck with shitty ports anymore.

Do all available games work on Mac or PC? Or are certain games only work for certain platforms?

All games work for Windows, and a select few also run on OSX. It's all up to the developer. You'll find that most Indie games are cross-compatible.

I was under the impression that all games worked for both platforms (Hint: I dont use it. :P).

I thought that the client could be Linux based and "the box" wouldn't obviously have to be Windows.

But, meh.

This is what I'd like to see happen. Chances are MS will throw heaps of money at them to use their OS. Hopefully Valve don't cave-in.

Because they aren't physical copies. If i'm paying I want physical copies of anything major I pay for. Music, movies, games.

You do realise that with most games now being tied to an online account it doesn't matter if you have the disc. If they take away your account your disc is worthless anyway.
