Thought we could have a separate discussion about the multi player online component of Mass Effect 3

and for those keen on playing through all 3 games in a row here's the Mass Effect marathon discussion 360.mmgn.com/...

When I first got Mass Effect 3 I dived right into the single player not giving the online mode much thought, I pretty much assumed it was just a half arsed tagged on component simply added to the game to keep the online addicts happy.
I left it on the back burner for some time as well, only recently I have given it a chance because I was keen on boosting up my galactic readiness to 100 percent before I finish my trilogy marathon.
Right now I'm pretty much at the end of this marathon and my galactic readiness is all most at 100 percent. Originally I was going to give up on the online mode after I achieved what I wanted but sfter playing for this short amount of time I have started to like it.

Even better is the announcement of the Mass Effect 3: Resurgence DLC pack which is surprisingly free. Initial thoughts from me was that Bioware would give the online mode bugger all support so this was appreciated.

It goes down one percent every 12-18 hours depending on how fast you acquire it, I think.
If you have an iPhone or iPod or something, you can download the Mass Effect Datapad app and raise galactic readiness that way. In Datapad you just tell a fleet to do a job, and you come back an hour or five hours later and your readiness has increased by ~1-2% in a sector without you doing any actual work. It would be a good way to maintain 100% readiness.

Also, having readiness at 100% doesn't make any (visible) change to what happens. It's more about your effective military strength being >4000 or 5000.

Seems about right, I had to play a quick online game before finishing off ME3 today.

I can't seem to find an Android version only thing that comes up for a "Mass Effect" search is wallpapers and junk like that.

Now that I've done what I've originally wanted I might play the occasional game and level up some other characters and unlock other stuff.
I swear it feels like I haven't unlocked anything in a long time, really want to play a Turian or Geth.
Yes the readiness dropping down is quite annoying, especially when you are trying to do multiple play throughs, which I am.

And call me a noob but I love playing with the soldier, mainly because they can use a wide variety of weapons and i have played soldier in every Mass Effect game in all of my 4 play throughs.

But I have fiddled with other characters but the other players freak out when they see a level 5 character. The chat interface is rubbish and i also hate not having a clock.

Do you think there will be any more DLC?
Anyone still playing this online? I'm keep to start a few games up again.
I will play it online again eventually because I am on my 4th play through of the series, but still on ME1, so will be a while before I need to play ME3 multiplayer.
Anyone still playing the multiplayer game here? Been a while since I've played so my readiness level is back down to 50 percent :(
Right now I'm doing another playthrough so might get back into the online game for a bit and boost up my score before I finish it.

i kinda got over it lol. doing the same 10 waves over and over just gets too repetitive after a while (even on gold). especially wen uv unlocked pretty much everything

im for singleplayer dlc though
New maps and weapons might get a few people back into it pc.mmgn.com/...

"Earth adds three new maps -- London, Vancouver and Rio De Janeiro -- along with six new N7 classes: the Demolisher Engineer, Destroyer Soldier, Fury Adept, Sentinel Paladin, Shadow Infiltrator and Slayer Vanguard.

I wonder how long they will keep releasing these free DLC packs. The words "free" and "EA" just doesn't seem natural [Shifty]

Probably trying to keep a good image to make origin successful before they screw us over. *nod*
while everyone keeps thinking they are FREE, they are only free because the people paying for Spectre Packs and Premium Spectre Packs in multiplayer are pretty much funding the DLC. the more 'free' DLC they provide, the more impatient people use microsoft points on the packs :)

when 'paid' single player dlc comes out you'll see wat i mean
lol who paid for those packs? Doing that never crossed my mind [MOG]

I was tempted, then I remembered how gimmicky the game was trololol (evil)
