Xbox 360 repair - Perth

hey guys
a friend of mine has an xbox that has 1 flashing red light. a couple months out of warranty and since it isnt rrod m$ wont do it for free.
for some reason or another he cant use his (or his mum's) credit card over the phone/online so i said i would help him find a nice and cheap(but reliable) repairer for hopefully less than $90.

any ideas?

tried all the good stuff
towels, penny trick (not x-clamp cos that costs monies)

my mate now reckons that someone is buying him an xbox on the weekend.

i might see if i can scab his old xbox off him and try to fix it myself

just a suggestion - how about selling it cheaply on ebay (obviously stating that it is faulty) and using the cash towards a new 360 arcade (jasper hopefully). He could trade in a few games at JB or EB for a bit extra cash to get him over the line.

At least it will be a new xbox with full MS warranty.

EDIT - just read your post above. Yep grab his faulty xbox and fix up if you can - i'd hate to see an xbox go to waste

To repair your Xbox 360 first you would have to search about the cause of the error. When you find the appropriate cause then according to cause go to repair. Some of the site provides manuals to repair, but you are getting the ssame situation after performing manuals process then you should send your Xbox360 to the Microsoft repair center.
