The leaderboard is pretty cool.

There are a couple of bugs still in this version, but I'm really impressed over-all. The controls are easy to get used to and the map limit isn't even a factor to me yet since I haven't come across it.. yet.

There are a couple of bugs still in this version, but I'm really impressed over-all. The controls are easy to get used to and the map limit isn't even a factor to me yet since I haven't come across it.. yet.

For each difficulty, you have a bunch of separate groupings for a range of stats. The same sort of stats that are kept in the PC version. If you play heaps of a certain difficulty, you are bound to be near the top of the leaderboards.

I was in the top 10k for distance traveled last night. :P

Sounds interesting... I'm still tossing up whether it's worth getting the extra 150 msp to get it (I'm always 150 short :*O)

I'm definitely a fan, but I kinda want to know what it's like on the Xbox. A trial sounds like the right idea.

Hey guys, thought I'd give everyone a heads up (hopefully some people are awake) and let you know that Raptr is giving away 2500 Minecraft XBLA codes for free. Link's here .

It won't work if you're not already signed up so don't bother to create an account just for today 'cause they already told people it won't work like that. But if you are already signed up and have been for a while, check if you meet the criteria/requirements to redeem the code. Sounds pretty good for a free full-game XBLA code. I tried but couldn't get one for myself.

Dedicated is essentially a mixture of playing the game for ages and having certain amount of achievements. I unfortunately have not played any of the games at all. There's still over 2000 left so hopefully someone on MMGN gets lucky, has Raptr and gets a code. :)

I don't know how I was eligible, since I'm not at a Dedicated level for any of those games. Still, when I logged on, it got my hopes up with a cheerful notification that I was eligible. Then dashed them by redirecting me to a page that said I have no rewards [Facepalm]

Downloaded the trial version. It has a specific time limit, so you cannot do alot of things.
Went on the tutorial, and I am stuck finding dirt. As I'm doing a tutorial, you are confined in a certain space. I dug in many places but I cannot tell what the game shows as dirt.

Sucks that no-one was able to redeem the Minecraft 360 code prize from Raptr.

Has anyone experienced glitches with the game in regards to achievements? I'm unable to unlock the "Getting Wood" achievement which is pretty much the first one most people should get in the game. I keep punching the trees to get logs but the achievement never unlocks. So annoying.

mine were taking a couple of seconds to pop up

Some people are reporting the achievements taking a while to pop up, or not at all like in my case. Another weird thing that's been floating on the Internet is how the first unlockable gamerpic keeps saying it's unlocked everytime some players log into their world. The recurring aspect is split-screen, and I played split-screen with my mate when I first got the game, so that may be why I didn't get the achievement. Just beware fellow achievement hunters, if you're into that.

Otherwise the game is extremely fun. I'm still having a hard time trying to find a saddle and some diamonds, though.
