Yeah, I'm just going by the conventional referencing system for simplicity. ;)
By PC I mean a computer running Windows. Those ads have done things to my mind :(

May 9th is when it is released.

It will be interesting to see how kinect works with this. Doubt it will be good for building, but for adventuring it should be fun.

Really? [WTF] Or am I just reading what I want to read out of that?

The one thing that has me peeved about this is that when you want to play splitscreen, same couch style, each player needs a gold account.

Speaking of which, Hey! M@ndy!, does your son have a gold account or does he just use yours? We should have the rugrats share a server, if only for the lolz. :P

lol nah i only have the gold account.. :) might get him gold cause then if its true my daughter can play on pc and he can play on xbox.. i dont really see how pc will work with the xbox version :S

i need to fork out and buy another controller now though.. my kids are obsessed with minecraft.. they play it on the ipad together cause they have an ipad each and you can play online.. but now they want to play split screen on the xbox ;O

I can't imagine cross-platform multi being available. No way, surely? Has any Xbox Live game done that this generation? I know a few games on the original Xbox did.

i think the problem will be making it compatible with the servers running some of the infinite mods out there. You also need to correctly directly to someone's IP as opposed to a general game server which i haven't seen any xbox games utilising

MC360 is basically Minecraft circa ~ 1.6.

There is no way I can see that working with the PC version. Not to mention mods and plugins.

Plus, it seems you don't need to have a gold account to play with a friend.

PLEASE NOTE - the inclusive "Gold accounts are the only accounts that can play" issue appears to be a bug, not a feature; Mojang assures us that there are Guest accounts for your friends to join.

Your world is also limited to 1000 x 1000 blocks. Which makes sense, but we'll just have to wait and see what can be done with that.
