I don't understand what the point of Invasion Slayer is?

What does capturing the objective get you? I'm assuming it gives you vehicles and weapons? =S

Same, the few times I played invasion I was completely unaware what I was meant to be trying to achieve.

Invasion is pretty obvious. The Spartans defend and the Elites try to capture their base...

I just don't understand how "Invasion Slayer" works...

I think your right, as you reach certain amounts of kills and capture objectives it gives you access to new weapons/vehicles.

What I found was, all capturing a site did was bring in reinforcements for which ever team captured it. So if you're covy and you capture a site, after 10 secs or how ever long, covy type reinforcements spawn (Ghost, sword, wraith etc.). It can still be picked up by either team though.

I'm pretty sure you only have to get kills, so capturing the sites effectively do nothing. As far as unlocking new load outs, I'm not too sure. Kind of assumed it was just time based, but it could depend on how many sites your team captured

That's a bit stupid... if the Spartans stayed in the base, all the vehicles etc. would be useless.

Also I get a bit pissed off because 3 Elites spawn camp me. And I can't do anything about it...

You can move your spawn point. You can spawn on another team mate as long as he's not in battle.

It's still possible if both spawns are covered and your teammate dies.

the beta is awesome. they made everything that was crap in halo 3 and made it better. it somehow has an element of cod now which is good.

i like that it is kinda like halo 1 now. but the armour abilities are kinda unnecessary. add a new element to the game though.

Pretty sure the only element of cod ur talking about is lvling up and customization other then thats there nothing even close to cod in it. Anyone else reckon the grenades are alot harder to aim?

I for one prefer Halo: Reach over MW2. The Invasion playlist is the greatest thing ever coming to Halo...

The only thing that pisses me off about the game is the grenades... they're really overpowered and 1 shot kill anyone if you can do it right...

Also... I don't think it's turning into COD. Only the 'class' selections may be the most similar thing to COD. You can't even change the way your character looks in COD. Also Halo doesn't have this gay as hold left trigger to aim... and overpowered kill-streaks... lol

And leveling your rank doesn't improve anything in terms of 'gameplay' which is good... it's actually balanced. Also the 'noob tube' isn't that great... it's actually harder to use than the rocket launcher.

My opinion? COD: Black Ops will have to think of something fast if they want to compete with Halo: Reach.
