Was wandering if someone could help me out. I connected my 360 kinect the other night with a hdmi cable that i have had for a while and it was working fine on my panasonic plasma. The next day all i got was the picture but no sound. So i went into console setting to see if any of the kids changed anything. They hadnt. Could it be that the hdmi cable is rooted? I was using the same cable on my dvd player and had nothing but problems trying. Thanks for your help.

Try unplugging then plugging back in, might be a tad loose, I have had this before and just did what i said and all was good

That's often the solution.

Don't forget to do it with both ends of the cable.
