Same. Gears 2 multi just felt broken in some many ways! Hopefully they are looking to evolve and improve in Gears 2.

Hey Im new to the series as i didnt have an xbox prior to this year... i realise its going to be a learning curve from regular shooters, but im really keen ongetting this game.... any tips for me re: multiplayer?

Don't put your mic on right away. You will, as what everyone will deem you, a "noob", be flamed immensely with testosterone filled death match garble.

Be ready with the shotgun at all times. Stick with team-mates. It is a very different playing field compared to Reach or COD where you can probably win a match by yourself. In Gears, it's always about the team.

Cheers for the tips.... i will be definately looking to stay with team members and most likely will hang behind with a medium range weapon for safe measures.. ready to pull out the shotgun if flanked. .... i will possibly be very noobie at first as i only have a k/d of 1.00 in cod/bfbc2 and halo...

Definitely a shotgun man. Don't go in treating it like COD. It's COMPLETELY different. A totally different experience.

Man I am looking forward to this game, the campaign especially. I tried to get a Big W employee to sell the game to me early today. She agreed to it but when she went to get it, she came back and said I had to wait to the 20th. So close.
