i just played a 5 star team that, i **** you not, was pretty much 70 percent man united, at least their frontline was. Rooney, Berbatov, Ronaldo, Tevez and Anderson. What a ****.

I forced him to rage quit with my 1 star team though as soon as i was a goal up

got 800 points for the win.

Oh and i actually paid for a silver pack because i had 40 msp so i figured why the hell not.

Also their are some awesome deals in the trade area if you can find em. I purchased a few 75-80 players for 150 points, mind you they were almost outta contract but well worth it.

All must be done via global trade. But you can set the price rediculously high and presice to let people serach for it. Then they can offer for it

i ****ing hate. ****ING HATE. being matched up against 5 star teams (who in reality are more like 10 star teams) cause their skill rating's low seeing as they haven't played that many games, they just forked out like 30 dollars on gold cards.

Brazillian strikers, spanish midfield, italian defence. And Cech ofcourse

Try your luck on the trades. You'll always find something cheap there that you can re-sell for more.

yeh, my chemistry is always down to 20, morale on most players is at 1.

urgh, reforming my team, focusing on one formation and working my way from there, saving my gold players, chucking contracts on them but keeping them rested, and just chewing through bronze players.

well seeing as u need to actually play the main game (ie soccer games) to accumulate points, i doubt you'd like it. But it's a must buy for anyone who owns fifa09, it really is brilliant.

Though there are teams that are unbeatable because all of the players are 90+ with acceleration and pace set to 99. FKN ANNOYING!

do u save up for gold kits, or silver?

i'm trying to think of a good economic strategy, to keep my contracts going while getting good players.

I've found focusing on one formation to be a godsend. I decided i'm gonna write a list of all the top players in a 4312 formation and try and work my way through that. currently have the best GK for that formation 90 rating for 3000. i figured it was a bargain seeing as most 90+ go for 3 times that (even more for GK).

i've managed to build a decent team so far just by playing games and trading cards i don't need/want. when i get a gold player i want to keep i pump 2 or 3 contract cards into him to sign up for around 30 games.
